Rory Bosio
If it isn't at least a little bit of an adventure, what's the point?
A world-class endurance athlete full of fun, energy, lots of colors, and knowledge. Rory spent her time training by crushing laps on Donner Pass and around Lake Tahoe on a cruiser bike named Alejandro, towing friends' kids while Nordic skiing, belting out all the latest pop songs, and never missing an episode of Jeopardy! Rory grew up in the Lake Tahoe area, spending her childhood hiking, skiing, biking, and keeping up with — then outpacing — her mom in the mountains. That spirit of fun, adventure, and freedom led her to shattering course records at UTMB, winning the world's toughest mountain bike races, racing cross-country skis across Greenland, conquering a beer mile, and running races across the Atacama Desert.
As a coach, nurse and mom, Rory brings endless energy and meets you where you are. Early on, she learned to turn everything into a grand adventure and let the success follow — focusing on what she loved about running: the freedom and the ease of it. She has used all forms of staying active and playing outside as "training," and she'll help you do the same. She keeps things fun, helping you fall a little more in love with the process every day. Because if it isn't at least a little bit of an adventure, what's the point?
